After her husband dies in a controversial shooting, grief stricken Sara Crane has a hard time coming to terms with it. Just when she’s getting her life back together, she’s contacted by a threatening voice from her Roadlink in-car security system. Through Roadlink, the mystery Voice has hacked into her cell phone, her home security, her life.
The Voice is revealed to be the elusive Sheldon Wilkes and Sara learns that he was the one who orchestrated her husband’s death. And now he demands that she free a man from witness protection and deliver him to the Voice or else he’ll kill Sara’s teenage daughter, Kimmy.
But it won’t be easy, especially when there is an unhinged backseat driver controlling Sara’s every move, and one wrong turn could mean Sara and her daughter’s last ride.
